    Job Description

    This is a crucial role ensuring the seamless introduction of new products, overseeing every stage from concept approval to post-launch evaluation. Your responsibilities include leading and nurturing the process team, ensuring timely setup, addressing production challenges, and driving improvements for cost efficiency. You'll also coordinate trials and validations to optimise material and packaging concepts, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders like IGC, Iceland, Slimming World, and others. Your role extends to providing comprehensive support for factory launches, guaranteeing operational readiness and quality standards adherence. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that internal systems are primed and accurate ahead of any trials, ensuring smooth execution at every step.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential:

  • To achieve 'working at pace' and the delivery of smart objectives
  • To plan and organise workload to achieve demanding deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work through own initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills building open co-operative relationships, customer facing experience
  • Four years minimum experience with an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of FRM food manufacturing, processes & equipment
  • Experience of leading & managing a team Desirable:
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of budgets & cost management and KPI awareness
  • Involvement in continuous improvement / lean manufacturing initiatives
