Permanent or 6 Month FTC

Mainly site based but with 1 day remote


The HR Partner works closely with leaders to provide a full generalist HR remit and undertake case management, provide training, give advice and guidance and ensure that all policies are followed.


Additionally, the HR Partner works closely with the Leaders and the rest of the HR team to work on and implement national initiatives.


This will suit a HR professional with a generalist background who has worked at Senior HR Advisor/Business Partner level, keen to implement and make changes to policies and assist with embedding a new culture.


Key Duties:

  • Provide onsite and remote, proactive support and undertake case management.
  • To provide additional support to the wider HR team as a whole when necessary
  • Provide appropriate advice and guidance to leaders, ensuring that advice is in line with policies and best practice.
  • Partner with organisational leaders to gather feedback and make recommendations on HR policies to help align programs with organisational goals.
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement programs supporting strategic people initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison to bridge communication of Trust policies and practices.
  • Investigate employee complaints and grievances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Establish and implement processes to properly onboard new employees.
  • Maintain administrative oversight of key employment information and records including;
  • New hire
  • Benefits
  • Payroll
  • Holiday tracking
  • Sick Leave
  • Conduct exit interviews and offboarding procedures, analysing information gathered in these processes to help develop retention strategies and reduce turnover.
  • Oversee employment needs and /or programmes that support staffing, such as managing temporary employees, alternative work schedules etc.
Liaise with appropriate staff on the various activities associated with recruiting, working closely with managers in relation to:

  • Employee requisitions
  • Job descriptions
  • Job postings
  • Job offers
  • Provide coaching and guidance to management and employees in dealing with employment related issues and / or concerns.
  • Ensure that leaders are kept updated on current legal requirements and guidance.
  • Drive the performance management process and provide coaching to line managers to ensure the continuous development of employees.
  • Assess compliance situations and risks associated with various solutions.
