    Role Purpose

    Working as a key member of the Business Excellence and Transformation team, this role provides enterprise-wide transformation thought leadership, collaboration and delivery across Property Asset Management businesses to drive synergies, efficiencies and operational scale within and between the different geographies. It is a partnership role with senior Property Asset Management Business Leaders, working together to identify transformation opportunities, manage prioritization and marshal execution resources.

    Responsibilities include the design and execution of complex projects across multiple stakeholder groups, provision and oversight of change management support to ensure the expected impact and value is realized by the key stakeholder groups, including external clients. It requires bringing comprehensive transformation skills acquired in a mature transformation environment, ideally aviation, oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare or financial services, plus evidenced experience of developing frameworks and solutions designed to deliver superior transformation outcomes. Key outcomes includes identifying and defining transformation strategies to deliver step change operating model impacts to the organisation, including strategic technology, intelligent automation, process excellence, performance measurement and location strategic outcomes. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of managing senior stakeholders and be able to demonstrated effective stakeholder management and superior communications and influencing skills.

    This role will report to the Business Excellence and Transformation Business Services Transformation Portfolio lead; the location is within the United Kingdom, and is flexible city-wise within the UK

    What this job involves

    Transformation Portfolio Management

    • Engage with Business Services leadership to define the transformation agenda and associated programmes of work across the specific business services and create opportunities to achieve operational excellence through enhanced quality and increased efficiency across our platform
    • Accountable for delivery of transformation initiatives across Property Asset Management and for optimising benefits across these areas, including identification, design, realisation and tracking
    • Lead executive stakeholders to charter, resource and execute projects to capitalize on the opportunities identified
    • Support the delivery of a global design and delivery capability to act as a fulcrum co-ordinating schedules, resources, communications, and project integration amongst the various transformational efforts underway across JLL
    • Lead a culture of sustainable change including responsibility for Implementing a structured cadence for change, while minimising bureaucracy and administrative overhead
    • Support the senior level executive stakeholders in the governance of the transformation through identification of risks, issues and dependencies with clear escalation paths where appropriate
    • Provide deep expertise in communications and messaging to internal and external stakeholders around the business case for change and business outcomes

    Enterprise wide change

    • Lead change management of projects with enterprise-wide scope through a structured methodology
    • Drive thought leadership across strategic technology, intelligent automation and locations strategy across specified business services
    • Support the identification, design and delivery of enterprise wide strategies to support adoption of the changes required by transformation initiatives
    • Optimise the impact of transformation through embedding appropriate change management strategies and organisational impact analysis/interventions (including planning around change impacts and change readiness)
    • Enable collaboration and alignment on strategic design principles across the different geographies

    Performance & Value Capture

    • Support the development of controls and governance to set operational and financial targets aligned to our strategy and monitor progress against them
    • Create recommendations for performance and value capture strategy that can be embedded by all transformation teams across the business function
    • Support the development of a validated financial and operational baseline
    • Support the development of business cases for value capture initiatives including financial and operational KPIs
    • Partner with finance and HR to monitor progress against targets and communicate this to relevant stakeholders
    • Support senior stakeholders in their role in oversight and governance of transformation programmes, leading on the investment and prioritisation and benefits agenda for JLL

    Internal consultancy

    • Engage with stakeholders companywide to understand and advise on their objectives and problems
    • Define project workstreams and approaches to solve issues and arrive at actionable recommendations
    • Anticipate future trends and needs of the organisation and guide the development of the BE&T team accordingly
    • Support the creation of a more productive and scalable enterprise operating model
    • Proactively identify business risks, anticipate points of resistance, and support development of specific plans to mitigate or address these concerns

    Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

    The successful candidate will have a track record of driving change and delivering results in complex environments. A strong combination of project management and business strength with prior experience of leading a high performing team of consultants and analysts is vital. Exemplary communications and presentation skills are critical.

    The candidate needs a demonstrable and highly commercial mind-set, strong financial acumen, and knowledge of the operations of global enterprises. These must be tempered and informed by deep organisational awareness, resilience, and emotional intelligence. The candidate must have experience of working in an industry that has experienced significant transformation impacts over the last decade and must have worked for an organisation that has led and delivered complex and sophisticated transformation outcomes.

    Required skills and experience:

    • Extensive professional experience, of which part with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in a transformation function in an organisation with a track record of delivering complex and sophisticated change
    • Proven experience driving business transformation in a complex global enterprise, with tangible evidence of improvements in efficiency, quality and resilience
    • Track record of delivering operational excellence in a complex global organization, with expertise in levers such as demand management, process optimization, right-shoring, automation
    • Experience with digital transformation and agile methodologies
    • Previous roles on Business Unit or group level in a global company with similar size to JLL.
    • Candidates will have had global exposure in a similar sized company
    • Candidates will have experience of working with complex matrix organisations
    • Candidates will be able to demonstrate working across multiple geographies and complex stakeholder management
    • Real estate/financial services experience preferred.
    • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate others, communicate complex ideas clearly, gain the respect of clients and colleagues, and work collaboratively
    • Direct experience of leading teams of consultants and analysts in major international business transformation project(s).
    • Significant experience in Change management methodologies, processes & tools across large transformation
    • Commercially and financially astute, comfortable with company P&L and balance sheet
    • A solid understanding of driving change and leading people through a change the change process
    • Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
    • Leadership Skills: A leader with exceptional communication skills coupled with excellent active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Establish and maintain strong relationships on all levels of organisation.
    • Influencing and Team Work: Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
    • Project Management Skills: Knows how to effectively structure, staff and manage projects and teams to insure there is clarity of expectation, timely execution, corrective action when needed and successful outcomes.
    • Analytical Skills: Has a structured approach to problem solving with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Drives to fix the ultimate root causes to drive sustainable change.
    • Character with high perseverance and resourcefulness required to keep driving and finding ways to get the required steps done. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Forward looking with a holistic approach

    Desirable skills & experience:

    • Understanding of or exposure to global real estate markets preferred but not essential
