- Designing, implementing, and maintaining desktop and embedded software for new and existing products
- Collaborate closely with electronic, mechanical and other software engineers, and where necessary be responsible for: technical reviews, feasibility studies and project reviews as appropriate
- Communicate with customer facing support engineers
- Be an active member of daily Scrum meetings and fortnightly Sprint meetings
- Minimum of 3 years' software development experience in any object-oriented programming language for example: C++, Java, or C#
- Understanding of real-time and concurrent principles and an appreciation of networked devices, distributed processes, and packet-based protocols
- Ideally some experience of electronics control, interfacing motors, sensors
