Division info:

The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

As an AR/Finance Assistant, you will support our dynamic Finance Team at our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Reporting to the AP/AR Manager and working within a transaction team of 4, you will assist with the day-to-day processes of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function.

Main responsibilities:

Invoicing from the Infor LN ERP System
Data entry to customer invoicing portals
Generating adhoc sales invoices and credit notes
Raising Proforma invoices
Internal audit controls, including log and approvals.
Bank detail checking and tracking for internal audit controls.
Setting up new customers on the Info LN ERP System
Providing cover for the AP/AR Manager
Supporting colleagues with tasks as and when required

Qualifications:

Proven experience within a busy accounts department maintaining a sales ledger
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
