- Assist the Engineering Manager and Chemical Engineers with new engineering/mechanical developments and implementation including production methods, process flow, selection of machinery, equipment, components, fabrication and tooling
- Be responsible for preventative, reactive and scheduled maintenance regimes of plant equipment
- Assist/lead on new engineering/mechanical projects including new installations, modifications to existing plant/processes
- Assist the Production Manager in the efficient and safe operation of the production plant and equipment, including production process troubleshooting
- Maintain stock of components, fittings, spares, fasteners and liaise with the suppliers in order to obtain these
- Prioritize health & safety and risk assessments
- 2 GCSE's at grade C (4) or above, or equivalents in maths and English are essential
- Drivers license due to travelling to/from LevertonHelm sites

Do you have an eye for detail and an interest in fault finding? LevertonHELM are looking to source an exceptional Maintenance Engineering Apprentice. This role involves learning how to perform day to day upkeep, maintenance and support of new pilot plant work in our growing business.
Training to be provided:
As a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with LevertonHELM, you will be supported by your company mentor and your training provider Learning and Development Coach.
About the role:
Joining LevertonHELM as a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, your role will be focused on supporting the production team.
This is a hands-on role and you will be involved in spending time around all plants, covering long distances, climbing ladders, working at heights and accessing confined spaces.
You will have a wide variety of responsibilities, as part of the role you will:

An apprenticeship is all about learning new knowledge, skills and behaviours, therefore, to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in engineering and a willingness to learn.
