    Associate - AI Policy

    Our client is founded by a leading expert in AI policy and regulation, with a career background in renowned AI firms and UK Government.

    The firm advises global companies, UK Government, and not-for-profits across all sectors on how to utilise AI ethically and effectively, on changing regulation, and on how to become a thought leader in this space.

    Passion and knowledge of AI and emerging technologies, their ethical adoption, industry trends, and changing regulations.

    Policy development :

    Keeping up-to-date on and analysing AI and emerging tech policy, ethics frameworks, and regulation to provide recommendations for cutting edge AI policy development and initiatives for clients that adhere to legal and ethical standards.


    Client management :

    able to understand a clients' AI objectives, policies, and goals, maintain strong relationships with C-suite, and advise on ethical initiatives and strategies.

    A strong writer and communicator : effectively distil complex information into clear advice and recommendations and communicating these to clients orally and in writing, e.g.

    presentations.
    Political or policy experience in AI or emerging tech (e.g. Special Adviser, Senior Parliamentary Researcher, or civil servant policy specialist).
    ~ Research experience in AI, including relevant master's or PhD.
    ~ Policy role in relevant AI or emerging tech firm.
    ~ Role in a public affairs and policy consultancy focusing on AI.
