Long Term Supply till July (3/4 days a week)
GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced Art Teacher
(Long Term Supply) for one of our client school in Wandsworth,immediately**.

This is a temporary role.

About Art Teacher Job Responsibilities:

Ensure highquality classroom management and?maintain good classroom discipline.
Providing instruction on the use of media such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint.
Teaching KS3 students specifically
Assigning and grading projects and examinations.
Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.
Attending faculty and parentteacher meetings.
Manage the classroom and teaching equipment in order to create a good learning environment that makes efficient use of available resources.
Be a qualified teacher with
QTS or QTLS:
Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills.
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
Possess a Child-Only Enhanced
DBSon the Update service or be willing to process one through GSL Education
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
