We're actively looking for an In-House Commercial Paralegal to spearhead customer and vendor contractual negotiations.Your role extends beyond the transactional, as you'll collaborate with the Head of Legal in crafting and implementing legal and contractual policies.
Your influence will be key in cultivating a knowledge-rich environment, promoting robust contract and risk management practices that align with corporate policies, client regulations, and industry best practices.
Moreover, you'll be a valuable asset in assisting the Head of Legal in navigating legislative, regulatory, and other legal considerations.

Proactively responding to requests for assistance and information as well as providing contract interpretation and summaries, ensuring that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant stakeholders to provide contract visibility and awareness, and providing advice on commercial and legal risks
Maintaining accurate contractual documentation and legal databases/spreadsheets as well as monitoring updated legal and regulatory developments
Managing records of GDPR compliance activities and ensuring contract and data processing align with GDPR principles (Including contract revisions, data protection impact assessments, and communication with stakeholders)
Supporting development and implementation of processes to handle data subject requests, data breaches, and DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), as well as implementing and acting in accordance with information security policies and procedure
You will be set up for success as our Commercial Paralegal if you have:
At least 3 years' experience specialising in Contract/Commercial Law
The ability to interpret and articulate contractual or legal implications, compliance obligations, customer concerns, and contract terms to relevant stakeholders
Experience in positive stakeholder management skills and commercial knowledge
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver consistently on deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
Strong knowledge of GDPR principles and related data protection laws
Strong knowledge of Contract/Commercial Law
