We're seeking an individual to organise and provide leadership to the domestic cleaning and laundry functions of Marley Court care home.

Role Expectations:

Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery.
To supervise the cleaning and laundry services in accordance with agreed standards.
Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards.
Systematically solve daytoday problematical issues which arise.
Evaluate standards of cleaning competence.
Ensure the residents' rights are protected.
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
Develop effective working relationships with the other employees working in the home.
Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance. programme.
Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction of all new employees.
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training.
To maintain housekeeping skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time to time, be required to maintain that currency of practice.
