This is an exciting time to be a Paediatric Dentist in South Wales as we expand the number of consultants, specialists and specialist trainees.

We want to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our team within the Cardiff and Vale Health Board to be part of this network of enthusiastic specialists and consultants.

Applications are invited for a part time Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry to work 6 sessions per week Wednesday to Friday


Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recognised as a teaching centre of excellence in a wide range of clinical services.


Applicants must have completed higher specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry and will be on the General Dental Council Specialist Register.


They should have successfully completed the ISFE examination in Paediatric Dentistry or be sitting the examination within the next 6 months.


The successful applicant will be expected to provide a service with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of dental problems.

You will provide specialist treatment services for more complex cases, working in liaison with medical, dental and surgical colleagues to provide an integrated service.

This post will have an academic role and will be involved in teaching Dental students.
