Constant Security Services is based in South Yorkshire and provides manned guarding services throughout Manchester, Lancashire and North of England and employs over 800 full and part time staff.


We have been trading for over 35 years, becoming one of the largest and most respected independent support service companies in the in the UK.

We are always looking for individuals who will improve the service that we are providing to our customers.

We have a full time vacancy available working for a brand new client based at an educational site in Stockport, The rota pattern is 6 shifts on and 4 off / /


The main role of the officer will be to provide security support and assistance to staff, visitors and a diverse range of students in order to maintain a safe and secure college campus.

You must be computer literate and have excellent report writing skills.


Some of the duties will include:

Ensuring no unauthorised persons access sites

Performing lock and unlock duties

Responding to incidents

Assisting staff and visitors on site

Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported

Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:


Experience working in the security industry on a similar assignment is desirable.

Valid Frontline SIA Licence

Good communication skills

5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858

Ability to write details reports

Excellent time management skills

Ability to think on their feet when making decisions

£9.90 per hour
