    We have abrand new opportunity for a Contract Manager basedaroundDevon andCornwall.

    The Contract Manager isat the heart of Ground Controls business. We have a team of up to40 Contract Managers and CM designates across the United Kingdomreporting a team of Regional Operations Managers. This teamdelivers consistently high quality grounds maintenance services andacquiring additional business.

    Whatyoull achieve;

    Reporting to aSenior Contract Manager you will be responsible for the managementof our Field Teams and directly employed staff. This is a criticalsuccess factor to delivering grounds maintenance work ontime to thespecified standard.

    Key responsibilities willalso be:

    Recruiting and training Field Teams inWays of Working and expected quality standards

    Daily quality monitoring of Field Teams work

    Line management and performance management of directly employedstaff

    Effectively build and maintain clientrelationships

    Providing managementreports

    Price sell and manage landscaping workeither additional grounds maintenance work required on sitescurrently maintained by Ground Control or large landscapingprojects implemented as part of a constructionproject.

    Develop successful workingrelationships with local client decisionmakers

    Accurately price new maintenance sites undertender.

    Identify price and supervise additionalworks on existing grounds maintenancesites.

    Who wereseeking;

    We would welcomeapplications from existing Contract Managers looking for futureprogression into a new role that will have a lot of futureinvestment in your training and development. In addition we wouldconsider candidates who currently have their own groundsmaintenance business and are looking to move over to be directlyemployed in a national business.

    Whatever yourcurrent role you will need some management experience gained inyour current role as well as a solid grounding in landscapinggrounds maintenance and or horticulture.
