    Involved in the full project life cycle, from project definition, preparing and evaluating tenders, conceptual and front-end design development, detail design reviews, HAZID/HAZCON/HAZOP sessions into supporting construction, installation, commissioning and project completion.

    Providing cable engineering support across multiple projects by producing or reviewing outline cable system designs during development phases, including: review and assessment of technology options, underground cable routing selection, producing current rating calculations using CYMCAP software and assessment of interface requirements.

    Developing technical scopes and specifications for new underground cable projects as well as modifications to existing assets.

    Reviewing cable system prequalification and type testing reports in preparation for client approval, reviewing and verifying contractor/consultant detailed underground cable system designs, witnessing factory and relevant discipline site acceptance testing.

    Providing technical support to site teams to ensure quality of installations and cable commissioning activities.
    Evaluate tenders and procure and manage specialist services from consultants.

    Promoting and managing safety within your assigned projects through the implementation of CDM procedures and practices, ensuring the project engineering is compliant with company, HSE and industry regulations.

    Working closely with Engineering Managers and Project Managers to ensure that Engineering and Quality risks are identified and mitigated
    Providing technical support on high profile projects or technically complex issues.
