Location:
London or Newbury, hybrid working

Salary:
Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Role purpose:


As part of the UK Culture and Engagement team and the global Vodafone Learning Organisation, this role is instrumental in evolving our Talent Management strategy and owns the delivery of the Performance Management roadmap, leveraging the global resources available to meet local business needs.

What you'll do
Drive a learning and performance culture

  • Support the creation of a learning and performance culture that supports individual and organisational performance and growth embedding our performance management approach
  • Lead performance/development cycle for the market, using outcomes to drive improvement.
Build talent and skills

  • Lead the identification, development, and mobilisation of key talent pools for the UK market
  • Own succession plans for our critical roles (CEO 1), ensuring a strong and diverse pipeline across the UK market
  • Lead on talent and career development programmes, in conjunction with external suppliers as per business requirements
  • Take a data driven approach to evaluating the impact of talent and skills interventions, working with global areas of expertise to continually improve our offering.
Internal and external relationships

  • Effectively partner and influence senior stakeholders and HR Business Partners to ensure their engagement and commitment on all talent and performance work streams and alignment to the wider HR people plan.

Who you are;
Knowledge

  • Indepth knowledge of skills, talent and performance management field
  • Knowledge and understanding of psychometric assessment tools, ideally with supporting qualifications.
  • Knowledge of a range of coaching techniques, ideally with supporting qualifications.

Skills:


  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and proven ability to understand and effectively handle interpersonal and group dynamics.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including senior leaders, centres of expertise and external partners.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while working with ambiguity.

Experience:


  • Experienced at identifying current and future capability needs and developing / implementing organisational solutions to build address needs.
  • Experience of leading talent management and development interventions
  • Experienced at driving outcomes from talent and skills interventions at an individual, team and market level.
