Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge? We are currently supporting our client to hire Depot Manager to be based at their East Sussex depot.

This will be a pivotal role across the southern fleet maintenance service, delivering maintenance and performance improvement to their fleet. You will provide leadership to circa 150 people to ensure safe, cost effective and efficient operation of the Depot.

You will lead, direct, motivate and empower the team, driving a safety first culture. You will be accountable for the delivery of fleet into service, safely, reliably and consistently and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Whilst being responsible for the budget associated with all activities in your remit and lead and develop a cost effective customer focussed workforce.

You will be an experienced people leader, leading large teams. Ideally you will have experience of maintenance practices for rolling stock and depot operations to include safety risks and mitigations. You'll be a strategic thinker who is able to build strong relationships and ability to operate at all levels. A self starter with strong interpersonal skills.
