We have served the global diagnostics industry for over 50 years and due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Front of House Apprentice to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.

Role Requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Front of House

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and suppliers.
  • Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness and communication.
  • Engage a network of local suppliers and/or service providers for business needs such as catering, taxis and other ad hoc services not handled already by other functions.
  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
  • Handling incoming telephone calls, enquiries and requests

Business Support

  • Act as support for various teams across the business including management, HR and business services.
  • To support with a full range of administrative support services including regular handling of sensitive and highly confidential material.
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentation
  • Organise and attend meetings, ensuring the assigned team members are well
- prepared for meetings, producing accurate and timely meeting minutes where required and co-ordinating action items and deliverables

  • Handle correspondence, queries and prepare letters, presentations, reports and Purchase Order
  • Assist with submission of business expenses and other tasks as requested
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned or required
  • Provide support to key projects and other business initiatives as required.

Internal Communications and Engagement

  • Support the delivery of internal communication activities, events and campaigns which provide effective communication between colleagues.
  • Keep employees informed of the issues affecting them
  • Support internal initiatives to increase engagement working with internal working groups such as our Employee Forums.
  • Supporting the delivery of live inperson and virtual events, from small facetoface sessions through to largescale town hall meetings at BBI Group sites.
