    2 x Permanent Teaching Assistant Level 2 + SNA

    Start date: ASAP

    Hours: 30 hrs (20 hrs SNA/10 hrs TA 2 rate) per week Term Time + 5 Inset Days

    Salary: Grade D pt 6 - pt 11 £ £ pro rata

    Actual Salary £16,588 - £18,037 per annum plus SNA

    (NVQ 2, BTEC 2 or equivalent qualifications)

    We are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants Level 2 + SNA to join our vibrant, happy school. The role will include; supporting individuals, children with Autism/Challenging behaviour and working 1:1 with some of our children who require help to develop and encourage them in their learning. Must be experienced working with children with SEMH/SEND. Knowledge of Read Write Inc is desirable and using the Ladywood Assessment Scheme.

    In December 2021 Ofsted's judgement was Good. Cherry Tree is very diverse and can be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. The Ofsted judgement is indicative of the excellent progress the school has made from the previous Ofsted in December 2017. Support for children with SEND was highlighted as a strength.
