    Description
    An exciting opportunity has come up to work within our highly functioning senior leadership team, managing our intervention team which is pivotal in ensuring high quality programme work to reduce their offending and/or other high-risk behaviours is delivered to all our young people. In addition, you will be strategically responsible for staff development and training, Secure Stairs and our health services including medication oversight. You will take the lead in the development and review of policy documentation within the centre and the management and coordination of tendering exercises with organisations such as NHS England and local healthcare providers. You will be an experienced strategic manager able to offer inspirational leadership in the centre. You will be a graduate with advanced level qualifications in relevant areas. For this role you will have high level expertise within the defined areas of responsibility and be able to demonstrate your in-depth knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to:
    • The latest proven high impact programme work to reduce risk and offending behaviour.
    • Assessment tools, outcome measurement and data analysis.
    • Ofsted inspection framework and the required regulatory standards for Residential Children's Homes and the Quality Standards 2015. Other knowledge of legislations is crucial for this strategic leadership role that is part of the senior leadership team.
    • Staff development and training.
    • Multidisciplinary working.
    • The production of complex reports and policy documents.
    • Contract tendering and monitoring.

    You will be child focused, attachment and trauma aware, a positive and proactive person who is able to build relationships with ease, maintain personal emotional resilience and work effectively with a wide-ranging multi-disciplinary ;Children residing with us have highly complex needs including chronic self-harm and suicidal ideation, substance misuse and trauma, as well as complex diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and Attachment disorders. The children we work with are some of the most vulnerable and challenging children in the country, who have been placed with us through the Criminal Justice System either sentenced or remand, or on welfare grounds and Section 25 of the Children's Act, due to high level risk behaviours to themselves or others.Clayfields House mission statement and philosophy is that 'change is always possible' and that even the most distressed, disenfranchised, and difficult to engage young people can make successful progress into a productive adulthood.
