We are working with a Manufacturer who are looking for an Operations Director to join their site based in Preston.

Responsibilities/The Candidate

• A strong Engineering and Manufacturing Background, with experience of managing and leading on Engineering, logistics, raw materials, production, and overtime budget responsibility.
• Experience within an FMCG background and environment.
• A driven and self-motivated individual.
• Ensuring Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental legal and associated accreditation compliance.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Embracing and implement lean manufacturing techniques and principles of continuous improvement and six sigma techniques.
• Experience in managing a budget and cost control.
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to other departments and within the senior leadership team.

The Salary

• £60,000 - £70,000
