Responsibilities:


As a member of our SMB & Mid-market Sales team, you will be responsible for selling our Privacy-as-a-Service solutions to major customers in the UK and then ensuring those customers have a smooth transition into the customer journey.

You will identify individual needs, develop and position a customised solution, and win the prospective customer as a new customer for DataGuard.


  • Sales positioning of DataGuard solutions with decisionmakers and influencers on the customer side (Clevel, Compliance Officer, Corporate Counsel, Data Protection Officer)
  • Control of the entire sales process with professional use of all available sales tools
  • Creation of sales plans for the responsible market segment or sales area
  • Development of inbound leads generated from marketing activities
  • Generation of own outbound leads within the target group by directly addressing contact persons to be identified
  • Development of individual offers together with the consultants from our privacy team
  • Successful conclusion of contracts through professional negotiations, handling of objections and participation in tenders (RFI/RFP)
  • Documentation of all sales opportunities in the CRM system and creation of reliable forecasts of future recurring revenues (new Annual Recurring Revenue/ARR)
  • Achievement of the individual rate of profitable revenue growth with our SaaS solutions and auditing services
  • Development of acquired customers to increase business potential and customer loyalty
  • Representation of DataGuard at industry events

  • Direct reporting line into UKbased Sales management
  • Daytoday collaboration with UKbased Privacy Consulting team lead
  • Work location: hybrid with 2 days onsite at our London office

Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Solid track record of success as an account executive
  • Ideally, you bring at least 2 years' experience in B2B new customer sales of SoftwareasaService or software products requiring explanation
  • Excellent skills in addressing Clevel executives and complex decisionmaking structures on the customer side
  • Amassed most of the experience in the British market and therefore fully familiar with local business practices, ethics, culture and etiquette
  • Analytical competence and the ability to think abstractly combined with strength of implementation and enthusiasm, as well as confident and composed appearance at management level and in an international business partner and customer environment
  • Clear head, heart in the right place, willingness to perform and good judgment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
