Job Introduction:


The Junior Digital Content Editor will support Bauer Audio's quest across the above brands to further grow online audiences and increase online listening.

Working with our Digital Content Editors, you'll create an engaging mix of music and entertainment content relevant to our audiences

Planet Radio consists of the Hits Radio Network, the Greatest Hits Network, KISS, Planet Rock, Kerrang Radio, Wave 105, Cool FM, Downtown, Downtown Country, Gem 106, Absolute Radio, Magic Jazz FM, Scala Radio, and heat radio.

Our team work across these brands to write an engaging mix of online content that interests and entertains our audiences.

We are based across the UK but speak through the day and meet up through the year. We look forwarding to finding out about your interests and making you feel part of our team.


This role is hybrid and can be based out of any of our UK office locations.

Role Responsibility:


  • Use a bespoke CMS to write entertainment and music news stories across brands
  • Create longer form content focused on keywords to build search traffic
  • Share articles on social media
  • Create engaging header images for articles
  • Research potential stories and SEO opportunities with the team
This role requires enthusiasm, attention to detail, and great storytelling.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills as a writer, researcher, and distributor of online content.

There's also the opportunity to learn more about SEO.

  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience using a CMS to write articles
  • Understand different social media platforms
  • Some knowledge of SEO
  • Some experience using photo editing software
  • Great attention to detail
  • Interested in showbiz/music news
