Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an all-round Accounts Assistant for my clients in Blackpool. You will become an integral support to the busy Accounts Department.
Areas of responsibility include assisting in purchase ledger, credit control and sales ledger functions.

Key responsibilities:
Assisting the Contracts Administrator with all internal/external account queries Assisting the Credit Control Assisting the Purchase Ledger
Month end duties
Petty cash responsibilities
Process supplier invoices
Ensured adherence to month-end deadlines
Daily banking / post duties internal and external
General office duties

The Accounts Assistant will be expected to have experience of working within accounts, purchase ledger, and sales ledger role, have strong excel skills and competent on computerised accounting systems, be confident and adaptable, be effective in a team environmentand to process to deadlines, follow guidelines directly from the Finance Director, be able to establish priorities, work independently and proceed without direct supervision on all routine matters.
