We are looking to recruit a capable and experienced Tenancy Management Officer to join our developing Estate Management and Support Service.


Your role will focus on ensuring that our neighbourhoods are safe, our housing stock is maintained and enhanced to a good standard by working with other teams and customers.

You will ensure that customers' Tenancy Agreements are adhered to.

This will require you to manage a busy workload consisting of nuisance/ASB cases, supporting all parties (complainants, perpetrators, and witnesses) with an emphasis on problem resolution to increase cohesion and customer satisfaction using a range of positive interventions.


In addition, you will be required to manage estate inspections, ensuring all health & safety concerns are identified and referred to our internal Housing Maintenance team.


A range of tenancy management visits will be undertaken for meetings, new tenancy sign ups and all other relevant duties pertaining to managing a variety of tenures within a large housing stock.


Do you love getting out and about?
You will be working a mixture of office, community, and home working.

Your base is at Appletree Court in Lyndhurst with the technical support and ability to work remotely across the district to deliver an effective customer-based service.

The role requires you to undertake visits therefore a full driver's licence and use of a car is essential. A monthly car allowance will be paid in addition to mileage expenses incurred.

There may be occasions that you will be required to work outside of core working hours.

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent to.
  • Excellent communication skills as our client base is diverse.
  • A minimum of 2 years Tenancy Management experience within a Social Housing setting.
  • An uptodate knowledge of the Housing Act 1985, Localism Act 2011 and the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 201
  • Possess a proven track record of effectively dealing with nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour and experience of multiagency working.
