About the Position:

To support further growth NewCold are looking for Operators to join the operations our team.

You will be working hands on within a team to ensure the continued operation of our automated facility by monitoring computer systems and performing hands on maintenance alongside our qualified technicians.

Responsibilities will include:

Monitor our SCADA software
Undertaking proactive and reactive operational tasks
The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment
Assisting with maintenance activities on site
Proactively identifying any risks and taking corrective measures
Complete daily checks of the plant and take the appropriate action to ensure the system operates to maximum efficiency
Ensuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising level
Drive your own learning with willingness for ongoing training
Have strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
Have experience troubleshooting in a mechanical, trades or automation environment
Have the ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively
Be comfortable working at heights
Be comfortable working some of the time in a cold store
Computer competency, physical strength and flexibility to work in a high volume, fast pace facility
Be able to work effectively within a team as well as by yourself
Be able to work a 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
