    The Role

  • Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare reports to highlight key performance indicators.
  • Gain practical experience in basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to contribute to the budgeting process.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide analysis on variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Input financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their financial needs and provide support.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on financial matters.
  • Key Skills & Experience

  • Attention to detail - Analyse situations, diagnose problems, identify the key issues, establish and weigh up alternative courses of action and produce a logical, practical and acceptable solution.
  • Hardworking individual with a can do attitude - Get things done well and the ability to set and meet challenging goals, create own measures of excellence and constantly seek ways of improving performance.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Willing to learn new skills - Take responsibility for your own career and actively support 'continuing professional development'.
  • Basic IT skills - MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint and MS Outlook
  • Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • A-Levels required – preferably Maths and English
