    Job Description

    An experienced Financing and Debt Solutions Specialist (the "Specialist") with at least 10 years of professional experience to spearhead the Financing and Debt Solutions proposition at a privately held wealth management partnership focusing on the UHNW and Family Office segment.

    The wealth management partnership manages money for some of the wealthiest individuals and families globally.

    The culture of the firm is highly dynamic, energetic and entrepreneurial. The firm is ambitious in its growth plans and looks for individuals who wish to be part of a continuously growing and evolving firm. Hierarchies are kept to a minimum. Members of the firm are expected to work in a very collegiate and collaborative team-orientated manner that has at its core the best possible service to its clients.

    The investment team as a whole is highly collegiate, and the Specialist will work closely with all members of the investment team.

    This is an important role for the firm in that the Specialist will be accountable for the delivery of the firm's Financing and Debt Solutions proposition and will, ideally, also contribute to the delivery of the wider client work of the Private Capital team.

    Given the above requirements and responsibilities, the Specialist will have ca. 10 to 15 years of investment experience with a high degree of technical investment experience in all areas of Financing & Debt solutions.

    It is very important to point to the use of open architecture debt advisory and the Specialist's ability to act as deal originator and creative thinker. Furthermore, the Specialist needs to be comfortable with managing a network of third party lenders and service providers.

    The Specialist should ideally be experienced in all areas of Investment and Real Estate Finance as well as Equity & Debt Finance, Debt and Capital Markets, Structured Finance and bespoke customized solutions.

    The Specialist needs to be active in the structuring of complex debt transactions, be familiar with pricing and covenant agreements.

    The Specialist should be well versed in utilising equity and non-bank funding as potential loan facilities.

    The key responsibilities of the Specialist will be as follows:

    Primary responsibility is for the Financing and Solutions proposition. This includes setting the strategy and delivering the business plan. The Specialist will be responsible for origination and execution of projects that involve debt financing. This will cover financing across clients' personal and corporate balance sheets.

    1.\tSecurities (Public and Private): The Specialist is expected to manage the pricing tariffs, security arrangements, monitoring and controls for public markets lending across all Assets under Management / Assets under Advisement managed by the firm. The Specialist is also expected to maintain a universe of alternative lenders able to lend against private LP positions and private share positions – lenders can include other clients, and strategies established by the firm to support this area.

    2.\tReal estate and other assets: The Specialist is expected to retain and develop strong relationships with core UK banking teams for RE financing from development to investment. Including engagement with a universe of alternative institutional lenders.

    3.\tCorporate: Maintain a strong understanding of RCF, Term Loan and Market Lending Solutions used by Corporates including senior relationship coverage at major client counterparty banks. Also build relationships with alternate SME funders (challenger banks / funds) to support Private Capital Companies and Client owned Corporates.

    In addition to the above, the Specialist will also work closely with the broader private capital team on all instances of structuring an investment opportunity as a debt instrument – for lending, equity contributions to corporate vehicles / RE projects or Funds.

    The overall responsibilities can be further broken down as follows:

    General Financing responsibilities

    \tWorking with the firm's Client Advisors (Private Bankers) and the wider network of the firm to generate deal/project flow

    \tStructuring engagements and agreeing commercial terms with clients

    \tOverseeing the execution of all financing projects

    \tLine management of the Financing Team (currently 3 analysts) with responsibility for development, training, mentoring, performance management, annual reviews

    \tWorking with all members of the firm's investment team in executing mandates that may involve multiple elements of the firm's proposition (e.g. OCIO mandates)

    \tBuilding and maintaining the firms' network of 3rd party lenders and capital providers

    Portfolio lending

    \tResponsibility for the portfolio lending proposition across all custodians

    \tEstablishing commercials that work for clients and the firm

    \tWorking with client advisors to ensure effective distribution and use of the service across client portfolios

    \tWorking with Operations to ensure smooth delivery of the service

    Additional responsibilities

    \tSupporting client acquisition and pitching the firm

    \tWork with the Private Capital team and contribute, if feasible, to the origination of client investment opportunities (Direct/Co-invest/Real Estate)

    \tIn this capacity, support the review of direct and co-investment opportunities
