We are currently on the lookout for devoted and energetic
SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assume a pivotal role in empowering students with SEN to reach their utmost potential, both academically and socially.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide personalized oneonone or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to devise and implement tailored lesson plans catering to individual needs.
  • Employ effective behavior management strategies and foster a culture of positivity within the classroom.
  • Offer assistance with personal care and attend to medical needs of students, as necessary.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with SENCOs and therapists to ensure holistic support for students.

Requirements:


  • Preferred experience working with children or young individuals with SEN, though not mandatory.
  • Possess a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, coupled with a genuine zeal for supporting individuals with SEN.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in addressing the evolving demands of the school environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous.
