    Project Manager / Business analyst (Private Assets & Alternatives) - £800 P/D Inside - 6 months contract

    Working with a global banking client based in London to secure the services of a Project Manager / Business analyst for the private assets and alternatives team.

    Private Assets & Alternatives Delivery is a global team supporting a growing business in support of product, client and operational roadmap delivery and change. Changes to our products and services require in-depth analysis and monitoring as the team focus on achievement of planned milestones and handover to Product, Client and Operational teams post successful implementation.

    The team is responsible for analysing & documenting Business requirements, undertaking gap analysis and closely working with product, development, testing and operational teams to deliver successfully across all roadmap initiatives.

    The Opportunity:

    The role will support product delivery change activity across the Private Assets & Alternatives workstack, in an expanding and growing part of the business.

    The role-holder will work on initiatives driven by the product roadmap and client/operational requirements which are prioritised to meet demand.

    Responsible for delivery of business requirements, documentation & test support, promoting continuous improvement across delivery teams.

    What you'll do:

    • Undertake analysis, business requirements definition and solution design for the Private assets & Alternatives book of work
    • Work closely with Product Management to ensure the product backlog aligns to overall vision and strategy, together with minimal operational impact
    • Maintain close and positive working relationship with all teams across Product, Operations and Technology including vendors to ensure cohesive and timely delivery
    • Stakeholder management across other delivery teams to identify and manage dependencies
    • Participate in wider team initiatives to support Securities Services Strategy
    • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external policies, regulations and procedures
    • Pro-actively consider operational risk scenarios associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations

    What you will need to succeed in the role:

    • Strong experience and understanding of Private Assets and Alternative funds
    • Sound understanding of Fund Accounting services
    • Fund administration
    • Vendor onboarding
    • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with a comprehensive understanding of content and context.
    • Experience of dealing directly with Clients and other Third Parties.
    • Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities.
    • Strong problem solving skills and able to perform under pressure
    • Ability to take decisions within the scope of responsibility
