Approved Mental Health Professional - AMHP Hub - Worcestershire - £49.84 ph umbrella

About the job:


We are currently in search of a motivated and flexible Approved Mental Health Professional to join a dedicated AMHP Hub team in Worcestershire.

This hub operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, providing a service to Worcestershire.

You will be working 37 hours across a shift pattern of 3 days/1 waking night, with 4 days off, over a rolling 8-week period.


As an Approved Mental Health Professional within the team, you will be:

  • Undertaking the statutory roles of an AMHP as laid out in the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended) and Code of Practice (Mental Health Act 1983)
  • Undertaking Mental Health Act (MHA) Assessments on a 24/7 basis
  • Working within the requirements of the Care Act 2014, and any other legislation and guidance as may be relevant and the HCPC codes of practice, providing personalised information and advice, when necessary

Preference:


  • 2 years experience as an Approved Mental Health Professional
  • Satisfactory references
