Purchase Ledger Clerk - Facilities Management - London Liverpool Street, The City of London


Your new employer is a well established Facilities Management service provider, with a portfolio of luxury office spaces across The City of London.

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our fantastic Accounts team, based at Head Office, in London Liverpool Street.


As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in the purchase ledger.


What You'll Do:


  • Reviewing a high volume of purchase invoices and credit notes and ensuring they are appropriately authorised and correctly coded.
  • Using the companies stock control/weighbridge software to reconcile invoices.
  • Managing the supplier selfbill process; ensuring selfbill agreements are regularly reviewed, properly authorised and the monthly selfbill payment run is completed on time.
  • Ensuring that all purchases are compliant with the company PO and authorisation process.
  • Regularly reviewing the disputes listing and resolving queries in a timely manner.
  • Completing the weekly BACS payment run, ensuring that all suppliers are paid within agreed time frames in line with our payment policy and remittance notifications are forwarded.
  • Timely processing of employee expenses.
  • Management and balancing of the company credit card expenditure.
  • Uploading of files and payment instructions through online banking services with strict adherence to cut off.
  • Provide support by producing key reports and journals for monthend and yearend accounting.
