    Job Description: We seek caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in the Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. The primary role of a Support Worker at Fevaca is to directly support our clients, people with a learning disability and/or autism. You will work with your clients to help them live a happy and fulfilled life and one that is as independent as possible by accessing activities within in the community. We aim to provide a person centred environment where we tailor our care to the needs of each individual.

    Our average day will include activities and fun days out, such as:
    • Local days out to popular parks, restaurants and pubs.
    • Cinema days out.
    • Bowling.
    • Swimming.

    A little bit about you

    Essential:
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • Right to work in the UK
    • Flexible availability over weekends
    • Genuinely caring, with a want to provide fantastic support to clients
    • You are able to keep accurate records, carrying out all recording and reporting in a person-centered, factual manner.
    • You work safely and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance so our clients can trust, feel safe and have confidence in the support we provide
    • Willingness to attend trainings and further your knowledge
    • Good communication, good written skills and fluent English
    • Positive, with a problem-solving approach to challenging situations
    • Reliable, with good time keeping

    • Confident with lone working

    Desirable
    • Experience in social care/ learning disabilities (not essential)
    • Experience lone working with vulnerable adults
    • A basic knowledge of CQC
    • Care Certificate, Level 3 Health and Social Care (not essential)
