    Hours 104 hours per month (which includes every other weekend)

    Days of Work
    The role works on a rota basis:

    • Mondays – 7am – 6.30pm (included in these hours is 30-minute unpaid lunch break) every other week
    • Thursday's - 7am – 1pm or 12.30pm – 6.30pm
    • Friday's - 7am – 1pm or 12.30pm – 6.30pm
    • Saturday – 10am – 6.30pm (included in these hours is 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
    • Sunday - 10am – 6.30pm (included in these hours is 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

    The Role

    Our client is looking to employ 2 part time Assistant Chefs to join its enthusiastic, vibrant, and hardworking team. As one of only two specialist horse racing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in the racing industry. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 in 2016.

    Skills and Qualifications

    To be selected for this interesting and challenging role, you must have:

    • City and Guild's 706/2 or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
    • Advanced food hygiene (level 3) or be prepared to work towards and achieve it.
    • GCSE's or equivalent in English and Maths
    • Relevant catering experience in a busy kitchen with an excellent level of customer service skills
    • Dynamism, and determination to succeed are essential.
