Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work with a primary school within the Caerphilly area.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young students in primary education.

Responsibilities:
Engage pupils in their learning through 1:1 session and small group activities
Assist the class teacher by preparing materials and resources for lessons
Supervise children during lunch breaks, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment
Handle general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the classroom
Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, contributing to the school's culture and ethos
Demonstrate a genuine passion for providing children with the best possible educational experience
What We Look for in You?
Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for education
Demonstrated interest in supporting pupils to overcome learning barriers
Prior experience working with children and young people, preferably in an educational setting
Ability to effectively and positively manage challenging behaviour with empathy and patience
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanour at all times
Attainment of a good general standard of education (GCSE Grade C or equivalent) in both English & Maths, alongside IT proficiency
Proficient in Welsh is advantageous, though not essential
