White Label Recruitment are excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company based in Leeds in their search of an Applications Engineer/Mechanical Engineer.

The Role:

• Interpreting customer requirements both technically and commercially
• Dealing with customers day-to-day enquiries by telephone, email and web calls/meetings
• Discussing engineering applications with customers and making commercial proposals
• Using in house calculations to select the most appropriate product for each application
• Developing technical documentation to support the sales function
• Creating technical drawings/models for products in CAD.
• Project managing multiple sales, design and application projects running concurrently

The Person:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Experience in an Application Engineering/Technical sales or customer facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience of using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, Solidedge, etc)

Salary & Benefits:
* £25,000 - £45,000 - Dependent on experience * 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays

• Hybrid Working - 1 Day WFH 37

Hour Working Week:

• Monday - Thursday - 8:20 am until 5:10pm
