    The Department / Team

    Moody's Central Marketing team enables a more holistic approach on how we interact with our customers; ensuring we understand their workflow challenges and how our solutions fit across each use case. The Marketing team focuses on driving awareness and demand for Moody's current and future solutions in support of company revenue goals and strategic priorities. Through thought leadership, awareness and lead generation campaigns, and a consistent focus on the customer experience, we establish Moody's as a trusted partner for integrated risk assessment capabilities. All along the customers' buying journey, from awareness through retention, we partner with our subject matter experts, business units, sales teams, and technology stakeholders to execute go-to-market strategies, deliver robust regional or global omnichannel marketing programs, and produce compelling content that attracts, engages, and converts qualified prospects and retains customers

    Overview:

    Become a part of Moody's Central Marketing team and help establish Moody's as the leading provider of global integrated risk solutions and drive consideration for our capabilities.


    The Global Marketing Programs team is seeking a candidate eager to take the initiative, learn our business, and support a dynamic operation within a Fortune 500 company. The Associate-Events & Outreach reports to the Associate Director- Events and Outreach and joins the Sponsorship Team in our Events Centre of Excellence. They will be responsible for coordinating and executing on Moody's industry event sponsorship strategy, which supports our goals of building brand and product awareness, enhancing client retention, and driving leads. The Associate collaborates with Marketing Programs teammates to ensure events support underlies campaigns and strategies and delivers flawless brand presence and customer experiences at third-party events.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and execute on a defined industry events strategy, working on multiple events at any given time throughout the year.
    • Forge relationships with various event suppliers and industry organizations.
    • Coordinate associated event logistics including, but not limited to, contracting and invoicing, preparation/shipping/receiving of booth materials, lead capture set up, processing AV and show orders, etc.
    • Adhere to Moody's event processes, use of systems and branding guidelines.
    • Consistently monitor, optimize, and report on effectiveness of events, including lead tracking. Communicate results within Marketing and to internal stakeholders.
    • Conduct pre- and post-event briefings, capturing feedback and compiling.
    • Ensure projects stay on time and within allocated budget.
    • Support other events and marketing initiatives as assigned.
    • Travel and on-site event management and travel may be required.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of related events experience in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of supporting event strategies and systems.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated professionalism
    • Good multi-tasking and problem solving ability.
