This is a unique opportunity to join Paysafe, a leading payments platform, as Content Editor to define and drive Group-wide thought leadership campaigns, with responsibility for the Paysafe content platform and our award-winning blog, Paysafe Insights.

This is a key role within a high performing, international team operating in the fast-paced and dynamic fintech industry.


Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, Europe, the Content Editor will direct our content programme to deliver on its aim of amplifying Paysafe's voice so it is respected, sought out and circulated within the global payments space and the verticals where we operate.

This requires a professional individual experienced in bringing market analysis and insight to life through creative, diverse and relevant commentary, with a track record in the delivery of omni-channel thought leadership campaigns.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop, lead and manage our content programme (including copywriters, internal resources) with editorial content that capitalises on industry trends and milestones and amplifies Paysafe's strategic narrative and priorities.
  • Maximise the reach of the content platform's output in an omnichannel environment, ranging from native content placements to paid amplification to video and whitepaper programmes, and the crosschannel content programme, including free media channels (SEO, social media).
  • Oversight of the Paysafe blog, including strategic planning to optimise it as an owned channel, deliver engagement, social growth and Paysafe profile amplification. Monitor and report on analytics to gauge success of content and refine strategy/ editorial calendars accordingly.
  • Development and execution of a content strategy with creative, fresh ideas incorporating current industry trends to enhance Paysafe's positioning in the payments space and the verticals where we operate, and to showcase the leading thinking and points of view of the teams behind our merchant solutions and digital wallet business units.
  • Drafting of articles and features on an ongoing basis with stakeholder input, and managing internal sign off processes.
  • Tone of voice brand guardian, to ensure high standards are maintained across all copy produced for the content platform (blogs, point of view, white papers, thought leadership, social, etc)
  • Brief creative teams to work on the design and graphics elements required to support content campaigns.
  • Work with the divisional marketing teams to ensure content is integrated and optimised for traffic and conversion across both on and offline channels.
  • Ensure all content is on message for Paysafe, authoritative, timely and engaging for our audiences, driving high levels of shareability and conversation.
  • Collaboration with communications colleagues to grow internal awareness of and engagement with the Paysafe blog and drive employee advocacy, using content sharing platforms.

Requirements:


  • Experience in a newsroom or editorial role, able to demonstrate proficiency in communications or editorial led roles, managing work flows, process, priorities and deadlines
  • Strong project management skills, including experience in managing agencies to brief and budget and managing campaigns from end to end
  • Ability to establish and maintain a strong network across senior executives, business unit, sales and product teams and manage multiple stakeholders is essential
  • Exceptional, accurate B2B writing and proof reading skills, and meticulous attention to detail when it comes to copy
  • Experience in payments or one of the verticals we focus on (iGaming, travel, eCommerce, Digital Assets) is preferable
  • Understanding of lead generation tactics, SEO, analytics, how to grow readership and audiences and how to optimise our blog from a user experience perspective
  • Knowledge of CMS systems
  • Proactive, creative and ideas focused, with the ability to work across multiple teams to bring omnichannel content strategies to life
  • A global business and commercial mindset
  • An appreciation for what makes a strong news story, with the ability to develop content while keeping in mind both corporate sensitivities, business priorities and global and local demographics
  • Ability to accommodate tight deadlines when required, juggle priorities and internal stakeholder demands in a fastpaced environment
  • A degree in PR/Marketing/Journalism etc. or similar
  • Occasional international travel required
