    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the European team at OMD in London, working with PepsiCo client. PepsiCo is a global legacy client for Omnicom Group, with Europe being one of the key Regions with its own local and Regional European client team.

    The key role of our central team is to be a thought leader for PepsiCo and support the global and European business in defining and executing their Digital Transformation Agenda – be contributing into vision setting, developing a strategy and finally – orchestrating local implementation.

    The role of Digital Director is to work in close partnership with the wider central team - Strategy Team, Comms Planning and Data and Audience Solution Teams, to drive strategic agenda and work closely with local markets to track local adoption of the central strategies, identify opportunities and scale learnings, as well as drive T&L agenda across the region.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Support Local Communication Strategy development by providing digital expertise guidance and frameworks such as audience architecture, 1st Party Data acquisition and activation strategy, setting clear KPIs and tracking progress with scorecards.
  • Create and articulate digital strategy recommendations for senior marketers who have a commercial / product marketing mindset (educating the value of comms planning through the work output)
  • Ensure all strategic recommendations can be translated across multiple territories and markets where relevant and local market digital strategies are aligned with overall account vision.
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities (., ecommerce, AI)
  • Develop media ideas in collaboration with Strategy, Creative, Insight teams and key partners.
  • Work across Annalect (Omnicom Data business unit), Marketing Science and other relevant teams to develop an integrated audience strategy across 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audiences, identifying relevant technology, partners and use cases, and translating audience insights into practical targeting criteria for media personalization.
  • Create frameworks and guidance for data-fueled Connections Plans with defined roles of relevant channels, connected creative, deployment guidance (precision audiences, targeting, buying, re-engagement mechanics), and test and learn agenda.
  • Drive Global and Regional Partnership deployment in Europe with joint business plans (Google, Meta, TikTok, Teads, to maximize value.
  • Drive digital excellence across portfolio through best-practice development, regular team, and client updates, POVs and product updates etc.
  • Manage client sessions and workshops where relevant to upskill internal and external members of the OMD & PepsiCo teams.
  • Be a thought leader and go to person for digital questions for PepsiCo clients and internal OMD team.
  • About You

  • Digital planning and buying experience across Paid/Owned/Earned – local, global or regional.
  • Strong knowledge of digital channels and disciplines (programmatic, video, search, social)
  • Experience in partnership management (local or global)
  • Knowledge of core Ad tech, buying platforms (DV360/Meta/Google Ads , CDP (., SalesForce), and ad verification technologies (., Moat).
  • Ability to use key digital data sources including eMarketer, GWI, Google trends, social analytics etc.
  • Experience of building and managing relationship with senior client stakeholders
  • Experience managing and developing junior to mid-level team members.
  • Knowledge and understanding of traditional media.
  • xperience working a Data Management Platform Experience in orchestrating and delivering data-led campaigns, rules-based segmentation
  • Ability to work with audience insights sources ., TGI.
  • Top line knowledge of Brand research methodologies (Brand Health tracking, Brand uplift studies
  • Hands on experience on local media planning and buying.
