We are a well-established meat wholesaler based in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, looking to recruit a full-time Bookkeeper & Credit Controller to join our growing business.
The role will be fairly independent but with support from the Finance Director of the parent company.You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts processing, including: Bank reconciliationProcessing purchase invoicesProcessing supplier paymentsDealing with supplier queriesPosting and allocation of customer receiptsGenerating customer statementsLiaising with customers and chasing paymentsProcessing and reconciling petty cash transactionsWorking with outsourced payroll provider to process monthly payroll The ideal candidate would have: Experience in using Sage Business Cloud Accounting (or similar)Strong Excel skillsThe ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet deadlinesGood verbal and written communication skillsAAT or similar accountancy qualification would be desirable This role would be based on site, Monday-Friday.
