As a Barclays Private Banking & Wealth Management Executive, you will be assisting the Private Banker /Wealth Managers in acquiring, servicing, and retaining clients to deliver overall business objectives.

You will become a key point of contact for the client for day-to-day operational matters.

In your new role you will assist the Private Banker /Wealth Manager in marketing products to clients and support the Pod/ team/ business in the delivery of its targets and goals.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting the Private Bankers /Wealth Managers in administration and management of daytoday administration on client relationships including, payments and banking enquiries
  • Working proactively with Operations, Business Management, and other teams to ensure delivery, resolving issues and reducing/ removing errors
  • Handling incoming mail, faxes, and phone calls from clients, interacting with the relevant departments, and confirming all relevant actions to the clients
  • Preparing letters and adhoc reports for clients and draft letters for Private Bankers/ Wealth Managers
  • Addressing and solving clients' administration inquiries, to provide high quality personalized service
  • Helping Private Bankers /Wealth Managers in ensuring adherence to all regulatory and Private Bank requirements/ procedures/ controls and recognising/ managing risk
  • Performing daily operations and transactions on clients' accounts
  • Identifying opportunities to improve current procedures and ways of working to the benefit of our clients, along with aiding the implementation of the change

What we're looking for:


  • Sound knowledge of banking, operational and lending procedures, risk management and understanding of financial services security /Risk and Control requirements /procedures
  • Relevant client facing experience in a Private Banking /Wealth Management or similar industry role
  • Proven investment, fiduciary, and banking product knowledge and experience in preparing for client facing meetings relating to banking proposition and investments
  • Experience in managing client relationships and in dealing with senior stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • A Degree qualification, however, this is not essential
  • Excellent communication and interactive skills
  • Highly articulate with excellent client facing sales skills
  • Being technically minded with excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Power point)

1 Churchill Place in the heart of Canary Wharf is our London headquarter. The building is easily accessible by Tube, Docklands Light Railway and all major bus links.
