Surgical Fellowships:

There is a 12 month post available with an immediate start.

Our recent fellowship posts have all been successful in gaining a substantive SpR training number 2018/19/20.

Upper GI/ Colorectal Fellow
Weekly timetable would include on average 2-3 theatre sessions, 1-2 outpatient clinic sessions and 2 optional research sessions. Although based with the colorectal & upper GI teams, a degree of cross cover within general surgery and vascular is expected
- offering the trainee a broader experience. One week in 8 is "Hot-Week" covering emergency surgery - this is well-structured with a team-based system.

The post will build on core skills attained at CT1 & 2 and allow further development within General and Emergency Surgery.

All Registrar level surgeons are involved in all teams and share the on call service with compliant shift patterns.
