SPT is currently delivering a £300m Subway Modernisation Programme to improve the customer experience and secure this iconic public asset for future generations.

As work on Subway Modernisation continues at pace this year, we will be strengthening our Subway Maintenance team to ensure that we have the right blend of skills and experience to deliver great customer service for years to come.

About the Role


As a member of the Maintenance team, you will carry out low level preventive maintenance and inspections on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, points and buildings.

In addition, you will carry out repairs to pipework, drains and track fixtures within competency.

You will operate a variety of plant and equipment including cranes, forklift, track mobile, locos, train sets, wash plant and company road vehicles.

Contractual hours will be Monday to Friday working an average of 38 hours a week on a rotating shift cycle including early shifts starting at 7am and back shifts finishing at 10pm.

You will be based at Govan, Glasgow.
