Job description - Sales Assistant
In this Business Development role, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline of warm leads that you have developed through referrals from existing clients.
This is a completely warm and consultative sales position but will need you to be able to effectively manage prospects through the sales cycle efficiently and ultimately close deals.
This role will need a highly motivated individual who is target-driven, able to effectively multitask multiple ongoing projects, and able to close new business.
Key responsibilities - Sales Assistant
- In this Business Development opportunity, your responsibilities will include:_
- Building and developing a robust network of partnerships within key industries
- Following up on warm sales leads and opportunities with clients across all industries and business sizes
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders at a senior/C suite level across various industries
- Conduct thorough market and industry research across to stay on top of industry trends
- Maintaining and growing your own pipeline and managing clients through the sales cycle
- Managing prospects/businesses from initial contact through to contract sign
- Meeting prospective clients both virtually and inperson
- Liaising with various internal stakeholders and internal teams
Job requirements - Sales Assistant
- A degree from a university
- Previous B2B sales experience in the professional services or STEM sectors would be advantageous
- Background in a targetdriven environment with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Driven and able to use company database efficiently/stay on top of admin
- Detailoriented and able to effectively multitask
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders
- Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
