    and main responsibilities

    The Haematology department at UHD is staffed with 16 Haematology Consultants across both the Poole and Bournemouth sites.

    As well as other Junior colleagues, the post will be supported by Middle Grades across both sites. We also have two Physicians Associates.

    Essential criteria

  • •Can demonstrate successful completion of foundation competencies
  • •Minimum of 4 months NHS experience

    • Desirable criteria

  • •Preferably 6 months experience in Cancer care speciality's such as Haematology and Oncology
  • •Evidence of involvement in audit & research projects

    • Qualifications

    Essential criteria

  • •Completion of foundation training
  • •Basic Medical Qualification

    • Desirable criteria

  • •Indication of desire to take MRCP Part 1
  • •Compliant with all Mandatory Training

    • Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude

  • •Ability to prioritise workload & use initiative
  • •Ability to know own limitations & when to seek advice
