Roles within this well-established team are hard to come by and we pride ourselves on staff retention and work life balance as these are a couple of our key focuses.
We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career so our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours will enhance your work life balance.
There is no OOH and the weekends are shared with the following Friday off in lieu. We are looking for full time, however we are open to discuss part time and flexible working. Feedback from our vets has been very positive following recent diary and rota changes to support work life balance.We are an RCVS accredited practice and have recently moved tiers from Core Standards and been awarded General Practice accreditation.
We are also an ISFM Silver cat friendly clinic. Our facilities include, four consulting rooms, two theatres, dentalsuite with X-ray, ultrasound, inhouse lab and digital X-ray.Our USP is that we are a very stable practice that promotes excellent work life balance alongside a high standard of patient care.
The practice is situated in the traditional seaside town of Herne Bay, a couple of minutes' walk from the beach, with a great range of restaurants, cafes and bars.
There is a direct high-speed train to London as well as easy access to the Eurostar, with the port of Dover just 40 minutes away.
We are an established team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons with a combination of 14 years experience, 9 Nurses combining well over 35 years of experience, 1 Head Nurse with over 10 years experience and 4 receptionists with a combination of 20 years experience.
