    About the role:
    Billigence are looking for a Data Governance Implementation Lead to join our team on an exciting government project.

    You will lead and build a comprehensive Information and Data Governance System that reflects the aspects of critical governance and information management in a Federated Target Operating Model design.

    You will be working alongside a Collibra Specialist to ensure the smooth implementation of Collibra across the program's data governance and management needs.

    This is an initial 12-month engagement, Inside IR35 to start in June 2024. You will be required to go on-site in London twice a week. You must have active (or be eligible) for BPSS clearance to be considered for this role.


    What you'll do:
    Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise information and data governance, federated target operation model.

    Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to guide decision-making; and ensure compliance and alignment with government standards.

    Lead the analysis requirements from stakeholders to ensure that Collibra is aligned with the Programmes data governance objectives and regulatory compliance standards.

    Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, milestones, and risks. Prepare and distribute project status reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management.

    Contribute to the governance and compliance activities within the Security & Information TeamWhat you'll need:
    Extensive experience of Information Governance frameworks.
    Experience of developing a federated information system.
    A strong understanding of data management principles including data governance, architecture, and quality management.
    Strong communication skills of driving the information message across different business functions and communities of interest.
    Demonstrable team leadership.
