The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join the team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week over five days and will include alternate weekends.

Shakespeares Birthplace is an iconic destination, and we are looking for someone to support the running of our flagship shop on Henley Street.

You will be a key member of the retail teamworking in a busy environment, engaging with visitors and customers from around the world.

You will have a passion for retail, experience of working in a managerial capacity and the ability to motivate a team to drive sales and achieve targets.

You will have knowledge of merchandising and displayandbe familiar with EPOS(includingcash handling and reconciliation)and stock management systems.
You will be an enthusiastic and confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
