As part of our mission to deliver exceptional client service and tailored financial solutions, we are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Paraplanner to join our team at our UK office.

    Role Overview: The Paraplanner will work closely with our financial advisors to support the financial planning process and deliver high-quality, comprehensive advice and recommendations to our clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting research, preparing financial reports and analyses, and assisting in the development of tailored financial plans that meet our clients' objectives and needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial products, investment options, and tax strategies to support the financial planning process and client recommendations.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports, illustrations, and presentations for client meetings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Assist financial advisors in gathering client data, assessing risk tolerance, and understanding financial goals and objectives to develop personalized financial plans.
    • Generate cash flow projections, retirement planning analyses, and other financial models to evaluate clients' current financial positions and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including advisors, compliance, and operations teams, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of client documentation and regulatory disclosures.
    • Stay informed about regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in financial planning, and incorporate relevant updates into client recommendations and reports.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to advisors on complex financial planning strategies, tax implications, and investment products.
    • Assist in the implementation of financial plans, including the completion of application forms, account transfers, and coordination with third-party providers as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and organized client records, files, and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
    • Support ad-hoc projects, initiatives, and team objectives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the firm.
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Professional certifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning, Chartered Financial Planner) preferred.
    • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in a wealth management or advisory firm.
    • Solid understanding of financial planning concepts, investment products, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial advisory services.
    • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex financial data, identify key insights, and communicate findings effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
