Inside Construction have been appointed to recruit an Estimator/Senor Estimator for a growing, main contractor based in Teesside.

Reporting into the Group Pre Construction Director the main purpose of the role is to analyse enquiry documentation upon receipt, production of bills of quantities, obtaining material and subcontract prices, identification of the risk and opportunities in a project and producing nett cost estimates for presentation in adjudication meetings to the Directors.

The role also involves liaising and developing relationships with Clients and managing/assisting with Framework Bids and Quality Submissions.

Projects range from £50k - £2m and involve a mixture of maintenance (frameworks), refurbishment, industrial/commercial units, schools and other government buildings as well as small new build housing developments.

You will be involved in managing all aspects of tenders received, pricing, preparation and return for projects using 'Estimate' software.

Producing cost estimates for construction projects and creating budgets using 'Estimate' software which is a user friendly system in comparison to others out there on the market

• Gathering information from and liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Producing detailed priced bills of quantities, offer letters and inclusion drawings which make up part of submissions to clients

The ideal candidate will have a good relationship with the supply chain and have existing relationships with subcontractors in the region.
