The Division of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a complex spinal surgeon. The ideal candidate for this position must be board-certified in neurosurgery.The surgeon will have a primary responsibility of developing community neurosurgical spine care in the BIDMC-affiliated hospital in Plymouth, MA and will work in collaboration with other departments to further develop a multidisciplinary spine program.
The surgeon will work closely with a partner in the Division to accomplish this.The preferred candidate will have experience in a broad range of neurosurgery, including complex spine surgery, epilepsy surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, complex pain management, spine trauma and/or minimally invasive spinal surgery.
The ideal candidate should also possess exceptional teamwork, program development and mentorship abilities.The successful candidate for this position may be considered for appointment as Lecturer, Part-time, at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
